[03:50:34] <tyzoid> Can someone check the august ISO, we have a report that archlinux32-keyring is not installed:
[03:50:36] <tyzoid> https://bbs.archlinux32.org
[03:50:38] <phrik> Title: Install medium lacks archlinux32-keyring / Installation / Arch Linux 32 Forums (at bbs.archlinux32.org)
[03:51:23] <tyzoid> But I double checked, and I see it on the iso I've got: https://i.imgur.com
[04:52:36] <tyzoid> Okay, so the package is installed, but for some reason, the keys were not appended to the keyring
[04:52:55] <tyzoid> I'm not sure what would have caused that to not take place, but reinstalling it on the CD (ignoring errors) fixes the issue.
[04:53:35] <tyzoid> I'm wondering if this could be caused if both archlinux-keyring and archlinux32-keyring are installed?

[18:03:27] <rmbeer> hello
[18:03:39] <rmbeer> anyone helpme with a installed package?
[18:04:57] <rmbeer> i install the opera-46.0.2597.26-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz but where i execute, take this: bash: /usr/lib/opera/opera: cannot execute binary file: Formato de ejecutable incorrecto
[18:05:10] <rmbeer> nm /usr/lib/opera/opera ---> nm: /usr/lib/opera/opera: No se reconoce el formato del fichero
[18:05:33] <jelle> LANG=C would hel
[18:05:35] <jelle> *help
[18:05:48] <jelle> also it sounds like that is a wrapper
[18:06:00] <rmbeer> jelle, no, is a binary file
[18:06:16] <rmbeer> LANG=C no work
[18:06:18] <jelle> rmbeer: run file on it
[18:06:46] <rmbeer> LANG=C nm /usr/lib/opera/opera ---> nm: /usr/lib/opera/opera: No se reconoce el formato del fichero
[18:06:47] <jelle> LANG=C file /usr/lib/opera/opera
[18:06:54] <jelle> ugh
[18:07:01] <jelle> how can it still be in spanish
[18:07:14] <rmbeer> /usr/lib/opera/opera: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, for GNU/Linux 2.6.32, stripped
[18:07:27] <jelle> so you installed a 64 bit package on 32 bit :)
[18:08:19] <rmbeer> ok, then is the problem of repository, i use the opera downloaded from i686 :/
[18:09:38] <fsckd> rmbeer: LC_ALL=C
[18:09:39] <rmbeer> i use this: wget 'https://mirror.archlinux32.org/i686/community/opera-46.0.2597.26-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz'
[18:09:45] <eschwartz> I wasn't aware that opera was available for i686
[18:10:09] <eschwartz> jelle: as fsckd said, LC_ALL is what you want for debugging :p
[18:10:40] <eschwartz> (since LANG is only the default for the other LC_* variables if they are unset)
[18:12:01] <rmbeer> common! i want a browser for i686! the opera seem is the unique that work in my computer! T_T
[18:17:32] <eschwartz> chromium and firefox are both available for i686
[18:17:41] <eschwartz> qutebrowser should work too

[22:03:14] -!- deep42thought_ has joined #archlinux-ports
[22:04:05] <deep42thought_> sry, the opera package was my fault - it seems something ignored the blacklisting logic and created an opera package even though it's blacklisted ...
[22:04:19] <deep42thought_> should be fixed now
[22:06:32] -!- eschwartz has joined #archlinux-ports
[22:22:56] <deep42thought_> tyzoid: I don't think installing both keyrings causes problems on the iso
[22:23:19] <deep42thought_> I't probably rather a wrong root dir or similar for the install script
[22:24:27] <deep42thought_> The error should probably already be fixed by running "pacman-key --populate archlinux32"
[22:28:11] -!- deep42thought_ has quit [Quit: leaving]
