[11:57:08] <mrkiko> deep42thought: hello
[11:57:21] <deep42thought> hi mrkiko
[11:57:25] <mrkiko> deep42thought: I think I have the necessary things set up, I need to send you my fingerprint
[11:57:41] <deep42thought> good :-)
[11:59:44] -!- krumelmonster has joined #archlinux-ports
[12:01:24] <deep42thought> mrkiko: best would be if you could send me a stamped and encrypted email, so I can also check, that these settings are right
[12:01:47] <deep42thought> mrkiko: The build master is somewhat strict about encryption/signing and stamps.
[12:02:37] <mrkiko> can you tell me your mail address so I'll run report-installed-packages against it?
[12:03:21] <deep42thought> mrkiko: use arch32@eckner.net for that
[12:03:57] <mrkiko> done
[12:05:10] <mrkiko> but the mail doesn't seem encrypted, even if I have gnupg apparently set up
[12:05:28] <deep42thought> yep
[12:05:46] <deep42thought> ah, my mistake
[12:06:03] <deep42thought> the mail is not encrypted, because it can't find a gpg key matching that address
[12:06:07] <deep42thought> so it should be fine :-)
[12:06:29] <deep42thought> you may need to 'gpg --search-keys buildmaster@archlinux32.org', though
[12:07:09] <mrkiko> deep42thought: or would you like me to search and install your key first to test this out?
[12:07:26] <deep42thought> nah, I will see on the build master wether it will work :-)
[12:14:12] <mrkiko> deep42thought: I will do what's needed to make your work easier, so feel free to ask what you need. Just do it in PM in case I don't notice here
[12:15:50] <mrkiko> deep42thought: I have two different keys, one is 4096 bit RSA key C963C94DD204443D, created: 2017-08-29, expires: 2019-08-29; the other is 4096 bit RSA key 714A1770ECE2DF62, created: 2017-06-23, expires: 2019-06-23
[12:16:23] <deep42thought> mrkiko: the first one is the right one

[18:35:45] <hringriin> i am trying to switch to the archlinux32 mirrorlist, but i'm struggeling with pgp .. when trying to upgrade (pacman -Syu) i get: error: <pgk-name>: signature from <name of the pgp key> is unknown trust ... i get three errors like this, the <name of the pgp key> is always the same (arch@eckner.net) ... i guess i'm just too stupid to handle pgp via cmd line ... any thoughts?
[18:36:22] <fsckd> did you get the transition keyring package?
[18:36:41] <hringriin> does not ring a bell ... how can i verify that?
[18:36:53] <deep42thought> pacman -S archlinux32-keyring-transition
[18:37:30] <fsckd> hringriin: directions for migrating are here https://archlinux32.org
[18:37:31] <phrik> Title: Arch Linux 32 (at archlinux32.org)
[18:38:04] <fsckd> hringriin: it says after changing the mirrorlist, to install the transition package. that gets you the ikeys needed.
[18:39:33] <hringriin> well ...this is embarrassing ... could've read the whole one ... thank you! ...
[18:40:07] <fsckd> sure, and welcome to Arch Linux 32 :)

[19:28:33] <lukeshu> 1. I can't seem to register for the bug tracker. Well, I can, but I get "Error #23: User or group not enabled for login."; no sign of an email being sent upon registration or password reset.
[19:31:01] <lukeshu> 2. Most of haskell seems to be broken. Look at community/ghc-mod and community/haskell-temporary; ghc-mod is linked against libHStemporary-1.2.1.1-6DswsWwyVfs4EvmtlA0bHh-ghc8.0.2.so, but haskell-temporary includes libHStemporary-1.2.1.1-JiAl6vZksoXBKGEB3ysIBo-ghc8.2.1.so ; it seem to be that many haskell packages were compiled against haskell libraries from Arch's old i686, and archlinux32's i686 haskell libraries aren't quite
[19:31:02] <lukeshu> compatibile.
[19:32:32] <eschwartz[m]> lukeshu: new accounts are moderated
[19:32:52] <eschwartz[m]> tyzoid can approve one for you
[19:33:09] <deep42thought> maybe, I can, too
[19:34:03] <deep42thought> lukeshu: your account is now enabled
[19:34:10] <lukeshu> deep42thought: thanks
[19:34:11] <deep42thought> hopefully, this enables you to report bugs
[19:34:36] <deep42thought> and regarding the broken linking: is this "stable" or "testing"?
[19:35:53] <lukeshu> deep42thought: this is with packages from [community] proper, not [community-testing] or [community-staging]
[19:36:00] <deep42thought> ok
[19:39:15] <deep42thought> let me move the stuff from testing to stable - maybe this fixes everything :-/
[19:41:06] <lukeshu> deep42thought: Do you want me to write up a bug report for it?
[19:41:21] <deep42thought> only if it persist with the new packages
[19:41:45] <lukeshu> ok
[19:45:35] <deep42thought> there are some package builds I'd like to wait for, though
[19:48:23] <tyz> thanks for the reminder to get email working on the new host
[19:48:38] * tyz still has a forum to migrate
[19:51:45] -!- abaumann has joined #archlinux-ports
[19:57:51] <deep42thought> abaumann: your mysql-workbench magic does not fix it :-(
[19:58:15] <abaumann> yeah: I just pushed more magic. :-)
[19:58:22] <deep42thought> :-)
[19:58:36] <abaumann> now it should work. I forgot the fix in jsonparser.cpp (just pushed the jsonview.cpp)
[19:58:36] <deep42thought> ah, should have noticed it
[19:58:58] <tyz> https://www.cs.utah.edu
[19:59:00] <phrik> Title: A Story about Magic (at www.cs.utah.edu)
[20:01:50] <abaumann> tyz: :-)
[20:02:44] <abaumann> ah. that's what libmagic is for.. ;-)
[20:18:15] <abaumann> wow. a yellow line appeared in the buildmaster. :-)
[20:18:36] <deep42thought> I decided, it would be nice to see the count of tested packages
[20:18:39] <deep42thought> (vs. testing)
[20:20:02] <deep42thought> the failing check in python-pyperclip looks like some race condition to me
[20:20:29] <deep42thought> but this is just a guess in the wild (in the dark?)
[20:21:34] <abaumann> looks more like uninitialized memory to me
[20:22:05] <deep42thought> but each failing assert fits to the next one
[20:22:14] <deep42thought> a!=b, b!=c, c!=d, d!=e
[20:22:14] <abaumann> ah?
[20:22:23] <abaumann> indeed!
[20:22:42] <deep42thought> where the left side is evaluated by self.paste()
[20:24:24] <abaumann> the package breaks happily on 64-bit.. so we can kick it upstream.. :->
[20:24:37] <deep42thought> :-)
[20:24:40] <deep42thought> good for us
[20:41:33] <deep42thought> abaumann: might the motion compilation error be connected to the ffmpeg flac problem?
[20:42:39] <abaumann> mmh no. undefined reference to `XvFreeAdaptorInfo, transitive dependency on libXv or so
[20:42:56] <abaumann> there is a -lXv missing for libavdevice.so
[20:43:16] <abaumann> ah.. and libavdevice.so belongs to ffmpeg
[20:43:29] <abaumann> so there is a library missing there for libavdevice.so
[20:43:33] <deep42thought> that's what I meant, sry for my encrypted speach
[20:43:36] <abaumann> should also happen on 64-bit.
[20:43:40] <abaumann> ah. :-)
[20:44:05] <deep42thought> or we (=I?) f*cked up the build order :-/
[20:44:07] <deep42thought> ?
[20:44:16] <abaumann> that's also possible.
[20:44:40] <abaumann> libavdevice.so depends on -lXv in a newer version of ffmpeg and we still use an old one?
[20:44:43] <abaumann> 64-bit is fine.
[20:45:35] <abaumann> the ffmepg flac problem is a codec issue and not related, I think.
[20:46:00] <deep42thought> e.g. "flac needs 64 bit but does not notice"?
[20:46:25] <abaumann> not necessarily. as I understood there are some flac codes which sometimes get lost.
[20:46:47] <abaumann> the error message I posted as bug appears on certain flac files, not on all of them..
[20:47:20] <deep42thought> "some compression levels of flac require 64 bit to decode"
[20:47:30] <abaumann> ah.
[20:47:53] <abaumann> interesting. so i created the flacs on a 64-bit machine and I'm trying to play them o a 32-bit machine.
[20:48:06] <abaumann> I have to rethink my long-term music archive strategy now. :-)
[20:48:09] <deep42thought> dunno, if that might be the case
[20:48:19] <deep42thought> was just a suggestion
[20:48:21] <abaumann> it's a good idea.
[20:48:44] <deep42thought> I'm almost always creating flac on 64 bit machines and decoding them on a 32 bit machine
[20:48:56] <deep42thought> so, it's a rather long shot
[20:49:12] <abaumann> I think, I have to debug..
[20:50:12] <deep42thought> gnaaa, virtualbox fails again due to "virtual memory exhausted: Operation not permitted"
[20:50:34] <abaumann> ah. good old virtualbox. :-)
[20:50:42] <deep42thought> I will put it on the buildknecht, as soon as it get's idle
[20:51:06] <deep42thought> volzornbrot set up one cpu core (on my request), so I can check if it's the ignores--j1-issue
[20:51:23] <abaumann> good idea.
[21:03:21] <deep42thought> nope, fails similarily
[21:04:30] <abaumann> sad. should I start it on my slave?
[21:04:38] <deep42thought> yes, please
[21:04:42] <abaumann> okay.
[21:04:45] <deep42thought> thanks :-)
[21:16:13] <abaumann> ah. motion passed. :-)
[21:16:21] <deep42thought> yup
[21:16:27] <deep42thought> I rebuilt ffmpeg and ffmpeg2.8
[21:16:37] <abaumann> so it was an ffmpeg dependency issue
[21:16:43] <deep42thought> yes
[21:17:44] <deep42thought> I should really get the sub-numbering running, but I have to give a talk wednesday, which is still missing ~10-20 slides :-/
[21:18:00] <abaumann> ui. :-)
