[05:36:19] <Cheguacamole> hi there is anyone familiar with installing (32 bit) arch in a VM on windows7, just wondering if there are any obvious traps to watch out for, I've never done this kind of thing before

[21:14:24] <doesntfreakout> Hi guys... how much of this applies if I ran arch linux off a USB stick: https://wiki.archlinux.org
[21:14:24] <phrik> Title: Installation guide - ArchWiki (at wiki.archlinux.org)
[21:14:44] <doesntfreakout> Have never done any of this before.
[21:16:10] <guys> doesntfreakout: all of it, assuming you are just using the USB as an alternative to an HDD for a real installation
[21:16:25] <guys> It wouldn't apply, if you were just using the live ISO image
[21:54:15] -!- doesntfreakout has parted #archlinux-ports

[22:33:03] <CalimeroTeknik> abaumann_, could it be that qemu would be able to run programs at native speed while blocking some opcodes?
[22:33:28] <CalimeroTeknik> doesn't sound probable, it's more like it can do the opposite (trap invalid opcodes to emulate them)
