[16:15:44] <girls> because, glibc fails in archlinux32, too, if compiled with the latest binutils
[16:16:04] <girls> with some segfault in ld, IIRC

[16:17:18] <oaken-source> on riscv64, there is another problem with broken relocations
[16:17:47] <girls> so what we did, is to use the 2_30 branch of binutils

[23:03:57] <lukeshu> Does arch32 not have problems with core/glib's check()? From where I'm sitting, it has interment failures sith x87 floating point math.
[23:05:09] <lukeshu> I'd add "-msse2 -mfpmath=sse" to CFLAGS, but I see no such modifications in the git repo.
