[10:31:09] <mrkiko> hello guys
[10:31:53] <mrkiko> may I ask you if you could compile emacs with wide ints enabled? I asked the Arch maintainer to apply that upstream over mail, but don't know how it's going to go
[10:36:45] * buildmaster failed to execute a mysql query - can you have a look at "tmp.mysql-functions.query.2019-12-26T10:32:34.TmsCDk.stdin"?.

[10:56:10] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[10:56:10] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[10:56:11] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> The next step will be to distribute code to neighbour servers or use the Amazon cluster in the build script to run tests..
[10:56:14] <abaumann> mmh. deadlocks.
[10:56:25] <abaumann> and a wine-gecko multilib no PKGBUILD or modified PKGBUILD found
[10:58:09] -!- deep42thought has joined #archlinux32
[10:58:09] <buildmaster> Hi deep42thought!
[10:58:09] <buildmaster> !rq deep42thought
[10:58:11] <phrik> buildmaster: <deep42thought> "und wieder ist ein Tag vollbracht und wieder ist nur Murks gemacht"
[10:58:14] <deep42thought> Hi abaumann!
[10:58:15] <abaumann> hi deep42thought
[10:58:18] <deep42thought> merry christmas!
[10:58:23] <abaumann> to you too :-)
[10:59:08] <abaumann> somehow pentium4 and i686 is in an endless loop in wine_gecko
[10:59:30] <deep42thought> what kind of loop?
[10:59:40] <deep42thought> it gets rescheduled? or the build does not finish?
[10:59:57] <abaumann> it hands the package out to slaves, then there is an error no revisions found in PKGBUILD or diff PKGBUILD
[11:00:11] <abaumann> it's a multilib package, which also seem weird, because it shold be in community
[11:00:21] <deep42thought> ok, I will check
[11:00:28] <deep42thought> probably it got assigned to the wrong repository
[11:00:36] <deep42thought> that happened quite a few times in the past
[11:02:01] <deep42thought> wine-gecko *is* in community according to the database
[11:02:13] <abaumann> it bulds fine manually..
[11:02:16] <deep42thought> also the commit is ok
[11:02:18] <abaumann> ..let me hunt the error message
[11:02:48] <deep42thought> ah, it exists twice
[11:03:03] <deep42thought> once in repos/community-x86_64 and once in repos/multilib-x86_64
[11:03:54] <abaumann> ah
[11:04:43] <deep42thought> elibrokeit: can you please remove the wine-gecko source from the multilib directory? It should only be in community: https://www.archlinux.org
[11:04:44] <phrik> Title: Arch Linux - Package Search (at www.archlinux.org)
[11:05:16] <deep42thought> abaumann: the problem is, that the build master/slave cannot decide which source to use
[11:05:32] <deep42thought> I think, we cannot really fix that
[11:06:00] <abaumann> ah, so we have duplicate repos from upstream, year.
[11:06:03] <abaumann> *yeah
[11:06:32] <deep42thought> we could say "prefer non-multilib over multilib" or whatever, but I really see no reason, why that should be the case
[11:07:13] <abaumann> yeah, right, I also think, this is simply a consistency error which must be solved upstream
[11:07:50] <deep42thought> as long as the build slaves are only stalled, it's ok, I think - we can still build other packages on other slaves, right?
[11:08:07] <abaumann> no.
[11:08:15] <deep42thought> hmm?
[11:08:24] <abaumann> funny enough. i686 and pentium always build wine_gecko
[11:08:30] <abaumann> (why is there an underscore?)
[11:08:31] <deep42thought> ah
[11:08:37] <deep42thought> aaah
[11:08:38] <abaumann> is't the package wine-gecko?
[11:08:45] <deep42thought> these are two different pkgnames
[11:08:46] <abaumann> i486 was building all along just fine
[11:08:48] * deep42thought didn't notice
[11:09:03] <abaumann> wow. that's even more funny
[11:09:15] <deep42thought> ... and more wrong
[11:09:42] -!- deep42thought has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
[11:10:00] -!- deep42thought has joined #archlinux32
[11:10:01] <buildmaster> Hi deep42thought!
[11:10:01] <buildmaster> !rq deep42thought
[11:10:03] <phrik> buildmaster: <deep42thought> !grab abaumann
[11:10:26] <deep42thought> pkgname=wine_gecko schould never be in wine-gecko/repos/ ...
[11:10:44] <abaumann> so, we have to find where this appears..
[11:10:54] <deep42thought> upstream
[11:11:00] <abaumann> yeah. :-)
[11:11:20] <deep42thought> the problem is, that we do not check the content of the PKGBUILDs when we are simply looking for PKBUILDs
[11:11:20] <abaumann> I meant, is it a package named wine-gecko or in which package is wine_gecko as (for instance) dependency. :-)
[11:11:28] <abaumann> ah
[11:11:31] <deep42thought> there is no wine_gecko
[11:11:43] <abaumann> not as package, no
[11:11:58] <deep42thought> the buildmaster sees community64/wine-gecko/ changing/appearing and schedules it
[11:12:20] <abaumann> wine-gecko/repos/community-x86_64/PKGBUILD:replaces=('wine_gecko')
[11:12:29] <abaumann> so, it's a rename
[11:12:33] <abaumann> wine-gecko/repos/multilib-x86_64/PKGBUILD:pkgname=wine_gecko
[11:12:37] <deep42thought> that's a clear sign, that the multilib thing should go
[11:12:41] <abaumann> oj,
[11:12:44] <abaumann> yeah, that's a mess
[11:13:03] <deep42thought> buildmaster: what's up?
[11:13:04] <buildmaster> up? I'm up for 23 hours, 52 minutes, load average: 1.86, 1.47, 1.42 ... and I'm insane :-D
[11:13:35] <abaumann> a 32-bit MSI being repackaged, ok.
[11:13:49] <abaumann> most likely to avoid the dialog in Wine presenting a Gecko download firts.
[11:13:51] <abaumann> *first
[11:18:26] * buildmaster resumes sanity.
[11:18:40] <abaumann> \o/
[11:18:46] * deep42thought parties

[11:33:23] <abaumann> -Werror strikes again in firefox.
[11:37:51] <abaumann> ah. a rust panic during build, nice
[11:38:03] <abaumann> just in case people wonder why there is no firefox 71.0

[16:43:14] <seeseemelk> Hey, the package librsvg for i686 doesn't seem to actually work on i686's. I'm trying to run it on a Pentium 2, but I'm running into Illegal instruction errors. Compiling from librsvg from sources also fails as both rustc and cargo fail with Illegal instruction opcodes. Are there any known fixes for these issues?

[17:23:15] <abaumann> seeseemelk: this sounds like SSE2 optimizations crept in again into librsvg or probably also in rust itself..
[17:23:18] -!- abaumann has quit [Client Quit]
[18:04:21] <seeseemelk> abaumann: I found that it's trying to execute 'xorps xmm0, xmm0', which is indeed an instruction added by SSE
